Biography

“Working with the trowel comes naturally as it has been a family trade for many years now.
I have always taken a keen interest outside of the conventional when it comes to living space finishes. I work very closely with home owners, being an extension of their imaginations and ideas, then shaping it into reality. From start to finish, I offer appropriate substrate installation, drywall, backer board, concrete, pozzolanic substrate, lathe, mortar, sculptural bases and features. My range also includes specialty exterior finishes.
I have always offered my customers the alternative to conventional finishes of paint and tile or acrylic stuccos and have endeavored to provide them with a healthy choice and something with an authentic real feel. Something that has a story behind it they can be proud of.
I have made my own plasters through the years and have strived to adapt it to the ever changing construction methods,embraced the ‘greener way’ approach and find it provides many rewards that make it worth the extra effort.
In additon to my line of services of natural plasters and paints,The Stucco Italiano product is the ideal product that compliments the wide range of interior and exterior finishes I provide.I have designated Stucco Italiano my feature product  that satisfies the full range of application for modern contemporary, elegant and exotic to  rustic old world charm, infused with a quality and flexibility that adapts in an endless variety of ways, all with an authenticity that cannot be matched or reproduced. I use only natural ochres and pigments, the marble/lime plasters provide the best base to highlight the natural properties of these ancient coloring techniques.
Mud Man takes pride in “making miracles with mud”, serving the homes and businesses of the Okangan Region of British Columbia. A region rapidly developing a culture of appreciation for refined quality as it grows with it’s ever developing world class wine industry. “Have trowel, will travel” for where the need is great!”
